PM Modi praised ULFA agreement between Center and Assam state

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today said that the signing of the MoU with ULFA will pave the way for sustainable progress in Assam.

Home Minister Shri Amit Shah posted and informed that the Government of India and the Government of Assam have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the state’s oldest insurgent group ULFA.

The rebel group has agreed to abandon the path of violence, surrender all arms and ammunition, engage in the peaceful democratic process established by law, and maintain the integrity of the country. The Prime Minister posted a reply on “I appreciate the efforts of the people. Together, we are moving towards a future of unity and development.” And prosperity for all.”
