कानपुर माननीय प्रधान मंत्री व मुख्यमंत्री के एक पेड़ मां के नाम अभियान तथा कानपुर शहर में इक्कावन हजार पौधे को रोपने का अभियान में कानपुर की जनता, स्कूली बच्चे बढ़ चढ कर हिस्सा ले रहे है।
इसी संकल्प को लेकर मिल्लत सोसायटी फॉर एजुकेशन द्वारा संचालित सिटी पब्लिक स्कूल हुमायूं बाग चमनगंज कानपुर के छात्र छात्राओं ने चमनगंज थाने का स्टाफ स्थानीय लोगों के साथ विद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों ने हुमायूं बाग में पौधो का रोपण किया चमनगंज थाना प्रभारी हामिद सिद्दीकी ने विद्यार्थियों को सम्बोधित करते हुए पेड़ को मां की तरह देखभाल करने का आग्रह किया। पेड़ हमारे लिए कितने महत्वपूर्ण है, अभी जो पूरे विश्व में मौसम की गड़बड़ी चल रही हैं इस हेतू हरियाली, पेड़, पोधो का होना अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है, इसलिए हमें पेड़ लगाने तो है ही, परंतु उनकी देखभाल भी वैसे ही करनी है।
