अखिल भारतीय खाद्य तेल व्यापारी महासंघ के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष एवं कॉन्फ़डेरेशन ऑफ ऑल इंडिया ट्रेडर्स (कैट) महाराष्ट्र प्रदेश के महामंत्री शंकर ठक्कर ने बताया यूएसडीए का अनुमान है कि चालू सीजन की तुलना में 2024/25 में यूक्रेन में सनसीड उत्पादन में वृद्धि होगी। मई की यूएसडीए रिपोर्ट के आंकड़ों से इसका प्रमाण मिलता है।
इस प्रकार, सनसीड की फसल 14.7 मिलियन टन होने का अनुमान है, जो 2023/24 की तुलना में 200 हजार टन अधिक है। विशेषज्ञों के मुताबिक, तिलहन का निर्यात 260 हजार टन (-65 हजार टन) होगा। विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार, यूक्रेन में 2024/25 में सूरजमुखी तेल का उत्पादन 6.15 मिलियन टन (-170 हजार टन) होगा, जिसमें से 5.72 मिलियन टन (-80 हजार टन) निर्यात किया जाएगा। सूरजमुखी मिल का उत्पादन 5.9 मिलियन टन (-165 हजार टन) होगा, और निर्यात 4.5 मिलियन टन (-200 हजार टन) होने का अनुमान है।
रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है, “यूक्रेन में सूरजमुखी प्रसंस्करण साल-दर-साल थोड़ा कम हो जाएगा, लेकिन यूक्रेन को सूरजमुखी भोजन और तेल दोनों का दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा निर्यातक बने रहने की उम्मीद है, जो वैश्विक निर्यात का लगभग आधा हिस्सा है। शंकर ठक्कर ने यूक्रेन और रूस के बीच चल रहे युद्ध से दोनों को सूरजमुखी तेल निर्यात करने की मजबूरी है जिससे वह अपने युद्ध के हथियार ले सकें इसलिए लगातार निर्यात में बढ़ोतरी हो रही है जिसका असर भारत के घरेलू बाजार के दामों पर पढ़ रहे हैं।
