टुंडी प्रखंड के मछियारा पंचायत अंतर्गत चैनपुर गांव के कुछ भोले-भाले आदिवासियों बंधुओं को धर्म परिवर्तन करा दिया गया था।
जब इसकी खबर एस टी मोर्चा के महामंत्री भाई गोविंद टुडू को हुआ तो फौरन अपने गांव के मांझी बाबा के समक्ष पुनः ईसाई धर्म से पिंड छुड़ाया तथा पांच गांवों के मांझी बाबा के समक्ष अपना मूल धर्म में वापसी कराया गया सभी मांझी बाबाओं ने संथाली विधि विधान से धर्म वापसी कराया गया।
जिन लोगों ने ईसाई धर्म को त्याग कर मूल धर्म में वापसी किया वे इस प्रकार है रूपलाल हांसदा, उनकी पत्नी मंझली देवी,पुत्र संतू हांसदा समेत समस्त परिवारों को मूल धर्म में वापसी कर एक अच्छे जीवन की शुरुआत किया।इस कार्य में एस टी मोर्चा महामंत्री गोविंद टुडू एवं भाजपा एस टी मोर्चा टुंडी मंडल उपाध्यक्ष ईश्वर हेंब्रम का सराहनीय योगदान रहा।
