भीलवाड़ा के नए मुख्य चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी (सीएमएचओ) डॉ0 सीपी गोस्वामी ने आज शुक्रवार प्रातः कार्यभार ग्रहण कर लिया। चिकित्सा विभाग के अधिकारियों, कार्मिकों व परिवारजनों सहित सीएमएचओ स्टाफ ने डॉ0 सीपी गोस्वामी को पगड़ी व माला पहनाकर फूल-मालाओं के साथ स्वागत किया और बधाई प्रेषित की।
डॉ. सीपी गोस्वामी ने कार्यभार सम्भालने के उपरांत कहा कि सभी चिकित्सा अधिकारी व कार्मिक टीम वर्क के साथ समन्वित प्रयासों के माध्यम से राज्य सरकार की मंशा अनुरूप कार्य कर जिलेवासियों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं का लाभ देकर जिले को स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की श्रेणी में आगे लेकर जायेंगे। राज्य सरकार की प्राथमिकता वाली निःशुल्क जांच, निःशुल्क दवा योजनाओं सहित अन्य विभागीय योजनाओं के साथ-साथ राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य योजनाओं पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाएगा और अधिक प्रभावी तरीके से उन्हें जिले में लागू किया जाएगा।

उन्होंने कहा कि जिलेवासियों को समस्त स्वास्थ्य योजनाओं से अधिकाधिक लाभान्वित करने का हमारा प्रयास रहेगा। स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को सुचारू बनाकर, गति लाकर और अधिक सुधार किया जाएगा एवं कमियों को दुरुस्त किया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा परिवार कल्याण, आयुष्मान योजना, मौसमी बीमारियों, मातृ व शिशु स्वास्थ्य के साथ ही शत-प्रतिशत बच्चों के टीकाकरण पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाएगा। गौरतलब है कि डॉ. गोस्वामी इससे पूर्व चिकित्सा विभाग में आरसीएचओ व एसीएमएचओ का कार्यभार भी सम्भाल चुके हैं।
